Museum of Navarre

Interesting
The museum stands on the site of a 16C hospital of which the Renaissance door remains; the exhibition is housed in the chapel. Note the Roman mosaics from 2C and 4C villas. Romanesque art is the star of the show, with capitals from the 12C Pamplona Cathedral. From later periods, note the fragments of murals from across the province and the 11C Hispanic-Arabic ivory chest from Cordoba.
