Salzillo Museum

Recommended
The museum houses masterpieces by sculptor Salzillo (1707-1783). You will see nativity scenes with countless terracotta figurines: here, the artist illustrates, with a remarkable anecdotal sense, the life of peasants from his day. Note the eight pasos (groups of sculptures) for Good Friday processions; these are positioned around the round nave of the Church of Jesus. Admire the emotion in the faces and the majestic shapes.
