Grönsöös Castle

Grönsöslott is a 17C mansion, which stands in a magnificent site at the tip of a peninsula, and has been home to the Von Ehrenheim family since the early 19C. It houses a remarkable collection of furniture, books and artworks, which has grown as successive generations have contributed to it. A path goes round the lake and leads to a Chinese pagoda dating from the late 18C. Thematic exhibitions are held in the former stables, giving visitors the opportunity to admire part of the vast collections of old furniture and objets d'art of Grönsö.
