Nordic Watercolour Museum

Opened in 2000, the Nordiska Akvarellmuseet is a centre where you can see a collection of watercolours by Nordic artists, or participate in a workshop to learn watercolour techniques. It is also a research centre. Built on piles among rocks polished smooth by the sea, the museum looks onto the water all around, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. The permanent collection and temporary exhibitions provide an opportunity for the public to enjoy works by contemporary watercolourists of international repute.
