Appenzel Museum

Interesting
Standing in the town hall and an adjoining house, built after a fire in 1560, this museum contains examples of the culture and traditions of the canton: coins, costumes, flags and so on. There is also an unexpected Egyptian sarcophagus from Thebes (c. 1000 BC.).
