This remarkably well-preserved and beautifully arranged museum is made up of two sections. The largest of these presents several reconstructions of peasant houses by type with old furniture, costumes, etc. and hundreds of objects from bygone life. An excellent example of Gruyère folklore. The second section contains work from the Italian, French and Swiss schools.
