Penwith Peninsula

Recommended
Penwith, the most westerly part of Cornwall, is a magnificent headland often pounded by the ocean waves. Its bleak beauty derives from its granite foundation, the wind and its small granite churches. There is a magnificent view of the coast from Cape Cornwall. The attractive Sennen Cove is nearby. Land's End, the westernmost point of England, consists of breathtaking cliffs perpetually assailed by the swell of the ocean. The vastness of the ocean seen from here is fascinating.
