Chambercombe Manor

Chambercombe Manor (15C-17C), a white-painted and slate-roofed house, lies in a wooded dell. Inside, interesting features include 300-year-old polished lime ash floors, barrel vaulting, an Elizabethan four-poster bed (16C), a Cromwellian oak cradle (17C) and a "tallboy" chest of drawers from the same period.
