Durham Light Infantry Museum

Not far from the river, a modern building stands in a beautiful park and houses an exhibition that relates two centuries of history of the local regiment with weapons, uniforms and photos. An exhibition shows life in the County of Durham during World War Two. Craftwork and sculptures are also to be found in the upper gallery.
