Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room

In 1967, a second concert hall accommodating 1,100 visitors was inaugurated to compliment the Royal Festival Hall. A third hall seating 370 was built in the same year (the Purcell Room), designed for recitals with perfect acoustics.
