City Walls

A pathway follows the top of the well-preserved medieval walls that were built on sturdy Roman foundations. From the top, there is a view of Dane John Mound, a funerary site from the Stone Age, with its monument built to honour Christopher Marlowe, the famous Canterbury playwright.
