Speke Hall

Interesting
Located within parkland boasting some delightful gardens, this black-and-white Tudor manor was built between 1490 and 1612 by successive generations of the Norris family. Its oldest section is the great hall, with particularly beautiful wood panelling from 1564. Its many small rooms demonstrate the Victorian preference for intimacy and comfort.
