Elsecar Heritage Centre

The village of Elsecar was once home to farms and miners' houses. Forges and iron workshops were built here in the 19C to facilitate the processing of iron ore mined nearby by Earl Fitzwilliam. The centre's restored historical buildings are now home to arts and crafts workshops, boutiques and a heritage centre highlighting the history of the village.
