Back to Backs Museum

Recommended
This agglomeration of four restored houses on a courtyard offers an extraordinary trip back in time, to the daily life of four familes in 1840, 1870, 1930 and 1970 respectively. Furniture, objects, silverware, costume and mementoes vividly bring these periods back to life, evoking a bygone Birmingham and indeed a wider national history. Interactive exhibits allow visitors to learn more about a past so often seemingly long vanished. Unmissable.
