Coventry Cathedral

Highly recommended
Although regarded by traditionalists as too modern and by modernists as too traditional, Coventry Cathedral is one of the few modern buildings to meet with the approval of its visitors. The majestic porch was designed to link the new cathedral with the ruins of the old and dramatically expresses the meaning of death and resurrection. The attraction of the cathedral probably lies as much in its external structure as in its use of light.
