Shambles

Interesting
Lined with half-timbered medieval houses, each as bulging and crooked as the next, this is the most picturesque street in the city. Nearby Pavement Street, with its church dedicated to all saints, takes its name from the fact that it was the first street to be paved in the Middle Ages.
