Treasurer's House

Rebuilt in the 17 and 18C, the treasury house of York Cathedral has a magnificent line of rooms containing furniture and paintings from different era. The great room has an unusual staircase dating back to 1700. The ceiling of the dining room (early 18C) is made of decorated beams and panels.
