Seafront

Interesting
There are few modern intrusions to mar the Victorian harmony of Marine Terrace, a sinuous line of small hotels and guest houses facing the sea. To the north, the Cliff Railway, a steam train dating back to 1896, still scales the heights of Constitution Hill. The ruins of the castle stand on the promontory overlooking the Pier, which has been partly destroyed by the sea.
