Cardigan/Aberteifi The Essential
Despite having the remains of a Norman castle, the town is primarily Victorian in character. The fine six-arched town bridge, originally Norman, was rebuilt in 1640. There are fine views from the cliffs, and boat trips as far as the Irish coast. Information is available from the Marine Wildlife Centre, which is devoted to dolphins, seals and other forms of the marine wildlife that thrive here. Children's activities also available.
