Pembroke Castle

Recommended
The castle, which was originally an enclosure surrounded by a fence, at the end of the crest - this part is now the interior courtyard - was completed in 1093. The great keep (21 m high) with its massive walls (6 m thick at the base) is now the centrepiece of the castle.
