Coleraine The Essential
At the head of the Bann estuary, Coleraine has had a university since 1968 and is a very busy market town. Its many shops invite strollers to go on a window-shopping spree. A riverside bird sanctuary and marina also await visitors to the town. Coleraine's prosperity began in 1613, when the land was granted by James I to the Corporation of the City of London.
