Ness Wood Country Park

The Burntollet, that runs through here since the end of the ice age, created the impressive waterfall ( eas in Irish) and a succession of gorges, caverns and rapids. Until the 17C, the wood (19 ha) mainly contained oak. Today, there are many species.
