Narrow Water Castle

Narrow Water Castle stands on a promontory, dominating the narrows at the mouth of the Newry River where it enters Carlingford Lough. It was built as an English garrison and remains an excellent example of a tower house complete with its enclosed courtyard. There is a view of the river from the narrow windows.
