Ulster-American Folk Park

The park is based around emigration in the 18 and 19C to America of around 250,000 Scots from Ulster called "Irish Scots" in the US. The generous assistance of the Mellon family of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, helped build this park around the ancestral cottage that Thomas Mellon left aged five in 1818 with his family.
