Glenbow Museum

Recommended
The seven-storey high edifice houses the largest museum in Western Canada, and twenty-one galleries on three floors contain displays that encompass the history of human life in Alberta. In addition the Glenbow Museum stages temporary art exhibitions. A highlight is the Nitsitapiisinni Gallery, which depicts the long and colourful history of the Blackfoot Nations, with a focus on the 1870s. European settlement in the province is also presented.
