Royal Tyrrell Museum

Highly recommended
This splendid museum, designed by Douglas Craig of Calgary, blends in well with the Badlands landscape. Inside, the highlight is the Dinosaur Gallery, where the major dinosaurs who formerly inhabited this area are re-created, some with original fossils, others with modern casting materials. The Paleo greenhouse contains a substantial collection of plants, descendants or closely related to the vegetation that the dinosaurs would have known. Exhibitions and films also relate the history of the earth and its evolution.
