UBC Museum of Anthropology

Located in a sensational building, the Museum of Anthropology (MOA) is one of North America's most important cultural institutions. It's also a great place to spend an afternoon looking at wonderful things. Designed by Arthur Erickson, the concrete and glass building enjoys a fantastic view of the Strait of Georgia. As you descend a ramp into the main gallery, the roof rises, providing ever-taller halls for the totems that form the centrepiece of the museum's collection.
