Fort Rodd Hill

This British naval base, taken over by Canada in 1906 and abandoned in 1956, stands at the entrance to the harbor of Esquimalt. Set on 18ha/44 acres of land, the mess hall, Belmont and lower artillery gun batteries and the firing range calculation room are open to the public.
