London The Essential
Interesting
London lies on rich farmland, upon which its wealth was originally based. It developed a thriving insurance industry, breweries and eventually a university, now the University if Western Ontario, one of Canada's distinguished. The economy is also supported by a modern manufacturing sector, and research and development. Today London is a bustling metropolis fraught with traffic, but expansive green spaces, like Springbank Park, and quiet tree-lined residential streets can still be found.
