Bytown Museum

Inside the 1827 Old Commissariat Building in downtown Ottawa, is this museum that tells tales of the city, starting with its early days as Bytown to Ottawa as it is today. The stone building has a picturesque setting on the Rideau Canal locks between Parliament Hill and the Château Laurier.
