Montreal Botanical Garden

Montreal's Botanic Gardens, one of the most beautiful in the world, was created in 1931 by Brother Marie-Victorin (1885-1944). The site encompasses a massive 75 ha/183 acres, where theme gardens and greenhouses are home to over 22,000 species from all over the world, including some 10,000 trees in the 40 ha/98 acre arboretum. The Tree House interpretation centre further enhances the collections.
