Montreal Museum of Archaeology and History

Recommended
This museum complex, which brings alive the fascinating history of the Pointe-à-Callière district, features three edifices linked by a crypt, which tell the story of 1000 years of human presence. The contemporary Éperon Building, home to a tower which commands a fine view, is opposite the Mariners' House, not far from the Neoclassical outline of the Old Customs House. A fascinating insight into the evolution of Montreal, exhibitions and a shop.
