Sept-Îles The Essential
Interesting
This dynamic city occupies a superb site in a large, almost circular bay on the north shore of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Protected by islands at its mouth, the bay remains navigable during all seasons, allowing for industrial activity throughout the year. Majestic scenery and fantastic sunsets reign over the Bay. Sept-Îles is one of the largest municipalities in Quebec. Boat tours of the islands are not to be missed; also make a point of visiting the town of Port Cartier.
