Western Development Museum

Recommended
The grand attraction of the Saskatoon branch of this museum is Boomtown, complete with its Western Pioneer Bank, garage, stores, Chinese laundry, school, pool hall, theatre, hotel and railway station. The church, moved here in 1972, is the only original structure on the street, which is lined with several period automobiles and horse-drawn vehicles. Separate halls house a large collection of automobiles and agricultural equipment, including steam tractors. Have yourself photographed in vintage costumes in the Boomtown Studio, and be sure to enjoy a light meal or a piece of fruit pie in the Victorian-styled Boomtown Cafe.
