This stately complex occupies an entire city block and is reputedly the world's largest group of structures owned and maintained exclusively by women. The national headquarters of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), it houses an extensive collection of genealogical materials and artifacts relating to the colonial and early Republic periods through the mid-19C.
