Holocaust Memorial

Interesting
Set in and around a tranquil lily pond, the Holocaust Memorial (dedicated in 1990) leads visitors through a circular plaza of pale pink Jerusalem stone designed as a series of outdoor corridors. Names inscribed on the walls are reminders of the many lives killed by the Nazis during World War II. The centerpiece is Kenneth Treister's Sculpture of Love and Anguish, which comprises several bronze vignettes and a giant 40ft-high outstretched arm symbolizing the last reach of a dying person.
