Naples The Essential
Interesting
Just west of Big Cypress Swamp and north of the Everglades, Naples marks the edge of civilization at the southwest end of Florida. Like Palm Beach only on a smaller scale, Naples boasts fine restaurants and hotels, upscale shops, an excellent arts center, abundant golf courses and miles of sun-drenched beaches. Marco Island, at the northern end of the chain of Ten Thousand Islands, offers high resort living on one end and a charming old maritime village on the other.
