West Palm Beach The Essential
Although this center of commerce and industry remains somewhat in the shadow of neighboring Palm Beach, West Palm has long outstripped its glamorous parent in size, population and skyline, and today offers its own attractions, including one of Florida's finest art museums. Clematis Street downtown thrives with trendy shops and eateries, and the Old Northwood neighborhood contains a number of Spanish-style homes dating from the 1920s.
