Quinn Chapel African Methodist Church

Interesting
This lovely limestone chapel was built by blacks before they constituted a significant portion of the population. The site, at the time located in a middle-class white neighborhood, was purchased by a fair-skinned member of the congregation who could "pass" for white, thereby avoiding community opposition.
