Cincinnati Art Museum

Recommended
Opened in 1886, the hilltop museum in scenic Eden Park is the first art museum west of the Alleghenies to have its own building. Over the years the collection has grown from a single Native American jar to more than 100,000 works covering 6,000 years of art making. The collection is especially strong in European Old Masters, Native American art, non-Western art (including the only collection of Nabataean art outside Jordan) and American painting from the 19C and 20C.
