Central Market of Lancaster

Long heralded for its architecture, Central Market's 1889 Romaneque-style brick structure now houses some 60 vendors who ply a brisk trade in quilts, shoofly pie (filled with a mixture of molasses and brown sugar), sausages, pepper cheeses and other local specialties.
