Dar Si Saïd Museum
Dar Si Said was the brother of vizier Ba Ahmed and this was his (19C) residence. The palace was converted in 1912 into the Museum of South Moroccan Art and regularly hosts temporary exhibitions. Exhibits here include wooden doors taken from kasbahs in southern Morocco. The pieces that make up this display of Moroccan arts are equally remarkable: jewellery, weapons, musical instruments, pottery and rugs. The beauty of the setting, a luxuriant riad, highlights the collections.
