Friouato Cave

This is an awesome descent into the bowels of the earth, from which claustrophobes are advised to abstain! Élisabeth and Norbert Casteret were the first to explore Friouato Cave, which has yet to reveal all its treasures. These days it has been partially set up for visits, with stairs along the wall of a well that is 40m in diameter at the entrance. After reaching 125m in depth you continue, but in a more oppressive atmosphere, toward the caves where a display of amazing concretions awaits you. A thrilling experience.
