Delhi National Museum
Statues and jewellery provide an insight into the distant civilisations of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro (2500-1500 BCE), while terracotta artefacts introduce you to the Maurya and Shunga periods (3C-2C BCE), as well as the Gupta dynasty (4C-6C CE). The miniatures, notably those from the Kangra School, are dazzling. Tribal costumes on the second floor.
