Kandy Tea Museum

Interesting
In the 19C, the British planted extensive plantations of tea, a bush that can withstand the harsh high altitudes found in the mountainous heart of the island. Ceylon tea soon caught on all over the world. The Tea Museum, established in a former tea factory, charts this heyday through period machines and countless photos, without forgetting the magnificent view over the Hantana Mountains from the top-floor tea room.
