Palace of Moon-like Stars (Sitorai-Mokhi Khosa)
The summer palace of the khans of Bukhara comprises several buildings constructed at the turn of the 20C, during the period when the city became a Russian protectorate. The general architecture and decorative features display a subtle marriage of Oriental and Russian styles. Stop to take in the large White Hall with its traceries on a mirror background, which took three months to complete. The other buildings house the Museum of Folk Arts and Traditions.
