Banh It Complex

Located not far from Vijaya, the last Cham capital, the site of Banh It was built in the 11C, towards the end of the golden age of the Cham, in the early Binh Dinh style. The Kalan (also known as the "Silver Tower"), the main temple, symbolises the sacred mountain in the centre of the universe and has preserved its triple pyramidal roof and rich sculpted ornamentation. Three other buildings, the gopura, the koshagraha, and the Stele tower, are also visible here.
