Only those visiting the Marble Mountains or the famous Museum of Cham Art stop in Da Nang, and at first glance the country's third largest city, with its ever-increasing number of high-rise buildings, would appear to be devoid of charm. However, scratch the surface and Da Nang is full of pleasant surprises: colonial architecture, pagodas and temples, not forgetting the market and its idyllic white sandy beaches.
