The former presidential palace of South Vietnam, the Reunification Palace has been used for a different purpose since the end of the war. Nowadays converted into a museum, it provides an opportunity to view the interior of the country's former seat of power. Amid a hushed atmosphere, admire the contrasting decor of austere marble and more luxurious furnishings in a succession of rooms embellished with furniture with a resolutely 1970s feel, softened by oriental influences.
