Centro Habana

Lying to the west of the Prado, between the Malecón, Calle Galiano and the Cazalda da Infante, Centro Habana can be unsettling with its ruined buildings, pot-holes and general decay. This state of abandonment, however, should not put visitors off, since this is an authentic working-class district with a warm and lively atmosphere, where visitors can soak up the laid-back Cuban approach to life among narrow streets with a capacity to surprise.
